Near Skadar Lake, the rows of grapevine stretch almost immensely, covering 2,300 hectares and forming one of the largest and most beautiful vineyards in Europe- Ćemovsko polje, which is owned by Plantaže in the exclusive domain of the Montenegrin autochthonous grapevine varieties – Krstač and Vranac. After sightseeing the vineyards and having a short stop at the view point, you arrive at the cellar “Šipčanik”. In these rooms covering cca 7000 square meters, the wine has been held and tended in almost perfect climatic and technological conditions.

Entry to the port is only possible by order and agreement with the Internal Security Service (ISS) . Port of Adria provides parking space only for shuttle buses and vehicles for organized excursions. Bus Parking Area is 4.000 m. Parking lots for up to 80 large buses.

Two large cruise vessels are berthed at the same time in Bar Cruise Port

Bar Cruise Port has received another cruise ship – ”Norwegian Dawn”, which sailed on Saturday and will remain in the port of Bar until December 12. There are 10 passengers and 125 crew members on board. The ship sails under the flag of the Bahamas. The cruise ship is 294.13 meters long and 32.2 meters wide.

Bar Cruise Port has received the first cruise ship call since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic. “Norwegian Spirit” is the first cruise ship to sail into our port, where it will be in hot-lay up for the next 3 months. The ship sailed with 135 crew members, which in regular circumstances, counts 965 crew members.
When receiving the cruiser, Bar Cruise Port complied with all the measures imposed by the NCB as a condition for the arrival of the cruiser. NCL and their local agent Allegra are very satisfied with the reception and are interested in bringing several more ships to Montenegro.

They say Bar has two faces as the town is located on two magical shores- between the shores of the Adriatic Sea and of Skadar Lake. Bar is a place of many interesting and beautiful tourist attractions and historical sites.
Being near two international airports, is located only 45 minutes away, Bar is easily accessible, and the city also boosts itself with more than 2.160 sunny hours a year, making it a perfect choice for your vacation.
